Sixth Form

Dixons McMillan will be admitting scholars into Year 12 in September 2018, the website will be updated in January 2018 with the open evening dates and times.  As a small school Sixth Form we are offering traditional academic courses to ensure our scholars have a real chance of securing a place at a high quality university in their chosen field of study.

Please read of the various sections of the website to find out more but here are some distinctive features of the Sixth Form @ DMA:

1.  Scholars will experience one DEAR session each week based on great academic works
2.  Twice a week there will be a formal business lunch, all scholars are expected to attend
3.  Scholars will take part in a wide-ranging enrichment programme including the EPQ
4.  Scholars will take three two-year A Level courses
5.  Each scholar will have a personal coach / advisor to guide with their next stage
6.  All scholars will take part in a period of service in the school
7.  PE lessons will be scheduled for all post 16 scholars
8.  All scholars will complete one week of work experience at the end of Year 12
9.  All scholars will receive independent careers advice and guidance before completing their UCAS applications
