Safeena Aziz

Associate Senior Leader

Safeena joined Dixons MacMillan Academy in 2016 and is currently the Associate Senior Leader responsible mainly for those new to teaching as well as supporting in the CPD and coaching of all staff at Dixons McMillan. Safeena is also the Head of Maths.

Previous to this, Safeena worked at University Academy Keighley for the period of twelve years. Safeena was given the role of key stage three coordinator as well as a numeracy coordinator, where she improved numeracy levels not just within the academy, but also supported other local Primary Schools by planning and delivering booster classes. Safeena was also given the opportunity to become a Coach Lead and therefore plan and deliver appropriate CPD suited to the needs of all staff.

Safeena is a Sociology/Social Psychology graduate from Bradford University. She is also an accredited NCETM PD Lead and continues to aim to push for excellence in everyone so that they can aim high and achieve their absolute level best.
