Should your child need to self-isolate, and they are well enough, they will need to access their work remotely. To do so, in addition to their 100% sheets and revision guides which they should have on them, they will be able to access work for each of their subjects.
Tier 1: This is where the academy is open to all scholars but your child is isolating. In this case, they need to click on the relevant document for Tier 1. KS3 includes Y7 and 8 work and KS4 includes Y9, 10 and 11 work.
Tier 2: Should the academy be instructed to operate on a rota system, of some children in school for a period of time and some children remote learning from home, the work your child should access is on the Tier 2 instruction document which explains how to access work for each of their subjects. Again, KS3 includes Y7 and 8 work and KS4 includes Y9, 10 and 11 work.
It is really important in both circumstances that a routine is still maintained to ensure that their momentum in learning is not lost. Please also remember to ensure they keep up their reading with their DEAR book. The documents also explain how your child can ask for help should they need it. If you do not have the password for the documents, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
