Remote Learning

Update, Thursday 14 January

Synchronous learning parental guide

Dear Family,

Your child will be set remote learning when they are working at home. To access their work, they need to click on the timetable below for either KS3 (Y7 and 8) or KS4 (Y9, 10 and 11). This will allow scholars to access their work from home and it tells them who to contact if they need to. Scholars also have hard copies of work to complete as well as their revision of their 100% sheets. Scholars should also access their emails daily as their Head of Year and teachers will also be emailing them with extra tips and guidance to support their work and to ensure they know what work to submit and to whom.

It is really important in both circumstances that a routine is still maintained to ensure that their momentum in learning is not lost. Please also remember to ensure they keep up their reading with their DEAR book. We will also be making regular contact with you and your child and it is important that if you have any safeguarding concerns that you continue to report these.

Links to long term plans can be found here.

Please click on WTD (What to do) Remote Learning for instructions on How to access remote learning.

If your child has any questions or needs general help with remote learning, they will need to contact their Advisor in the first instance.
