Kellie Wilby

Senior Vice Principal

Kellie studied for her degree at Liverpool John Moore’s University and then completed her PGCE at Manchester Met. From then Kellie’s teaching career has covered the West Yorkshire area, having served a number of schools across: Leeds, Wakefield and Dewsbury.

At the beginning of her career, in Leeds, Kellie worked as a teacher of English. In her NQT year Kellie was promoted to being a Head of House, across school, this then lead to leadership within the English department. Teaching across a number of schools in the West Yorkshire area, Kellie developed her subject and leadership skills in being a Head of English. Raising the achievements across English departments Kellie then became a successful senior leader: leading on teaching and learning, staff CPD, raising standards in science and MFL, supporting and leading ECF staff, and specialising in leading, developing and enhancing opportunities for SEND whole school.

Kellie joined Dixons McMillan in June 2022 in the role of: Senior Vice Principal. Dixons McMillan is a very exciting place to be, and the journey it’s on fills Kellie with many exciting prospects for staff, students and the community of Dixons McMillan.
