Dixons Academies Trust

​Dixons McMillan is part of Dixons Academies Trust a school trust serving communities in Bradford, Leeds, Liverpool and Greater Manchester.

Our academy day

We run a longer academic week for students to maximise their progress and prepare them for the future in the world of work.

Curriculum

All our students are entitled to a curriculum that gives them the powerful knowledge which will open doors and maximise their life chances.

KS3 uniform

Students in Years 7 to 9 wear a simple uniform which helps to uphold a sense of belonging and community within our academy.

KS4 business dress

Students in Years 10 and 11 wear business dress to prepare them for their professional working lives beyond their time at school.

Our leadership and staff teams

All our staff work every single day to maximise the progress of every student and safeguard the wellbeing of every child.

Pastoral structure

Every student at Dixon McMillan is part of an advisory within a larger year group team.

How we enable students to work from home if needed.

Careers education

We provide students with opportunities to engage regularly with employers and develop the knowledge and skills to be successful in the workplace.
