Poetry Live! 2024

Year 10 and Year 11 at Dixons McMillan were very very fortunate on Tuesday to attend the Poetry Live! event at St George’s Hall Bradford.

They heard from a range of speakers from the exam board along with hearing performance of poems from the GCSE Anthology including former Poet Laureate Dame Carol Ann Duffy and current Poet Laureate Simon Armitage, along with John Agard and Imtiaz Dharker. Students and staff had a great time and everyone feels much more prepared for their GCSE exams!
