We have had a truly fantastic year at Dixons McMillan Academy. Our Year 11 students achieved brilliant GCSE results that showcase how they have embodied our drivers of mastery, autonomy, and purpose to reach the summits of their own mountains.

There have been many standout successes across subjects. Science results continue to be a particular strength, growing more impressive each year. Students also excelled in art and design, drama, and ICT, demonstrating our commitment to offering rich vocational pathways alongside academic routes. In addition, strong outcomes in geography, maths, and religious studies highlight the breadth of achievement across the academy.

This has also been a year of remarkable individual accomplishments. A huge congratulations to:

Abdallah: grade 8s and 9s in all subjects
Rihana, Shaunak, and Momina: Distinction*s in art & design
Aadam: grade 9s in geography, biology, and physics
Ahmed: grade 9s in biology, chemistry, and physics

Lina: an outstanding grade 9 in Italian

These are just a few examples of the many fantastic success stories from our students. We are incredibly proud of everything our students have achieved, and we cannot wait to see what our new alumni go on to accomplish as they set out on their next mountain climb.
