Sports Day & Cycle 3 Employability Day 2025
Posted 15th July 2025
Students took part in a number of different events on Tuesday, with the whole school Sports Day for 2025 taking place, along with our Cycle 3 Employability Day.
For Sports Day, each advisory put teams forward for a number of different sporting events, ranging from athetics and tug of war on the field, to a football tournament over on the astroturf of Bradford College. Despite the rain, students (and staff!) demonstrated resilience, integrity and courtesy to do their absolute best and get the most points as possible for their advisory. Well done to all who took part.
When students were not taking part in Sports Day, they went to lesson where their subject teachers led their Employability Day sessions for the the cycle. The focus this time was on 'Careers in the Curriculum', as students considered the different careers which could come from further study in certain subjects. Staff delivered sessions ranging from archaeology in the Humanities department, to STEM careers in Science and Maths.
