Team McMillan through to National Finals!

Our Young Enterprise Team, Perfect Petals, came joint first in the North East, Yorkshire & Humber Regional Final for the Company of the Year award.

They truly shone throughout the competition, and it was an absolute joy to watch their teamwork, creativity, passion, and professionalism. They represented the school brilliantly and competed against some outstanding schools, including Ermysted’s Grammar, Skipton Girls Grammar, and Caistor Grammar School.

The team has now been invited to the UK Finals in Cardiff on June 4. Travel costs will be covered by the Young Enterprise sponsors, Admiral. If they go on to win the national finals, they will then be funded to represent the UK at the European Finals in Latvia!

In addition, Dixons McMillan has been selected as a case study for the Young Enterprise organisation, helping to encourage other businesses to support and work more closely with schools like ours. This is a fantastic achievement and recognition for our school.
