Year 9 Careers Visit to PwC Leeds

Some of our Year 9 students were very fortunate to be invited to visit the Leeds office of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to learn more about future careers in professional services and accounting. It is the second-largest professional services network and is one of the world's so-called 'Big Four' accountancy firms, along with Deloitte, EY and KPMG. The visit was a very eye-opening one for our students - some who had not realised that such a major international firm was based just in Leeds, with another office in our home of central Bradford!

Students took part in a number of different workshops throughout the day, including ones on careers advice on how to get into professional services and accountancy, and others looking at the day-to-day work of someone working in the sector. Students also had mock interviews with PwC colleagues, so they can start thinking about interview preparation in the future. A fantastic day all round!
