Family Dining
Family Dining
Family Dining is a core feature at Dixons McMillan and something that both students and staff enjoy. We eat as a family and students have the opportunity to create new friendships and strengthen relationships. We expect all students to eat the healthy meal provided by the academy kitchen during family dining. We have invested in a fully trained chef and a new kitchen with modern facilities to ensure that our food is prepared to highest standards. Family dining is part of our culture and remains a distinctive feature at DMA.
We operate a healthy school; this means that students may bring snack for break time but they must be healthy. Crisps and chocolate bars are not permitted.
We aim to educate our young people about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and healthy eating.
